Delivering air for BMW

In the second half of 2023, we signed an order with our Austrian customer for the BMW project in Steyr. The Steyr region is considered the center of future mobility. From 2025, the BMW Group plant in Steyr will produce electric drives in addition to gasoline and diesel engines. However, the plant is also expanding its product range in the area of V8 combustion engines. Currently, the company is building a large assembly hall for this purpose, to which we supply stainless steel air ducts. The first delivery of stainless steel air ducts to the building took place at the turn of September, October 2023. The new customer was pleasantly surprised by the speed of delivery and the flawless design, precision and sophistication of the components. The construction of the hall began in 2022, and the planned year of completion is 2024, when pre-series production is to begin. The construction of the new hall will create another 1,000 jobs. In total, the new assembly hall has more than 60,000 m2. In total, we are participating in this construction with a quantity of pipe delivered of 9,500 m2.
